01Sourcing · Fibre testing
The fibre
Comfort begins before the first thread.
We choose each fibre for the way the finished fabric should feel, breathe and live. The fibre is then examined for length, strength, cleanliness and consistency—because the quality of bedding is decided long before it reaches a loom.
Pure cotton · Organic cotton · Supima · Egyptian cotton · Linen
02Spinning · Yarn quality control
The yarn
Softness needs a strong foundation.
Clean fibres are aligned and spun into smooth, resilient yarns. Uniformity, strength and twist are checked before weaving so that softness is supported by the quiet durability needed for night after night of use.
121,488 spindles · 75 tonnes of yarn per day
03Weaving · Fabric optimisation
The weave
Structure becomes sensation.
Across high-precision wider-width looms, yarn becomes cloth. The construction is chosen with purpose—airy percale, fluid sateen or textured dobby—then optimised to achieve the intended balance of hand-feel, breathability and performance.
348 looms · 100,000 metres per day
04Dyeing · Printing · Washing · Finishing
The finish
Colour, softness and character emerge.
Dyeing, printing, washing and finishing bring the fabric to life. Every stage is calibrated to develop the intended shade, drape and touch while preserving the natural character of the material.
120,000 metres of wider-width processing per day
05Stitching · Final quality inspection
The final piece
Nothing leaves without a final touch.
Skilled hands cut, align and stitch each piece before it is checked for weave, colour, measurement, seams and finish. Astara bedding is packed only when every detail meets the standard we want you to feel from the first night.
